Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and cryptocurrency regulations.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Assist with tax planning and compliance.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Manage the accounting for digital assets, including valuation, custody, and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5 + years of progressive accounting or controller experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with cryptocurrency accounting and related regulations is highly desirable.
• Experience with blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
