Duties
Assist the managers in developing sales and marketing plans for major tourist markets, with a focus on short-haul markets in Asia
Provide support for inbound operators and overseas travel trade sales activities, including planning and executing co-op marketing campaigns, organizing travel trade briefings and product update seminars, attending travel trade and consumer events, and addressing operation-related issues. Occasional travel may be required
Build and maintain relationships with travel trade partners by offering regular product updates and timely support.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Identify potential product enhancements or new products based on industry trends, market activities, and consumer behaviors
Recommend new business opportunities to increase visitation and revenue
Assist in ad hoc commercial projects as assigned
Requirements
Degree holders in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
Minimum 6 years related experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or eCommerce, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level. Experience in tourism or travel trade industry is preferred
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese would be a definite advantage
Proficiency in MS Office applications. Knowledge of Adobe Magento, Google Analytics, and ticketing system will be an added advantage
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and travel trade partners
Knowledge of short-haul markets in Asia and travel industry practices
