Job Responsibilities

    • Prepare complete and accurate financial statements for multiple entities, including Limited Partnership Funds (LPFs) and Segregated Portfolio Companies (SPCs)

    • Manage the full month-end closing process with strict adherence to deadlines

    • Oversee accounts payable functions and ensure proper accounting treatment of all transactions

    • Maintain relationships with banking partners and handle transactional inquiries

    • Reconcile stock portfolios and investment records to custodian statements

    • Maintain accurate records of all investment transactions and valuations

    • Assist in preparation of SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR) reports

    • Support all regulatory filings and ensure compliance with SFC requirements

    • Facilitate the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns

    • Prepare financial analysis and management reports as required

    • Support the Head of Finance on special projects and initiatives

    • Handle any other duties as assigned by management

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

    • LCCI Higher qualification with substantial relevant experience will be considered

    • CPA qualification or Big Four or Top-tier CPA firms experience highly regarded

    • Minimum 3 years' experience in an SFC-licensed corporation

    • Strong preference for candidates with Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and/or Type 9 (Asset Management) license exposure

    Technical Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)

    • Hands-on experience with MYOB or similar accounting software systems

    • Working knowledge of SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR) and regulatory reporting

    Personal Attributes:

    • Unquestionable integrity and professional ethics

    • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

    • Proactive problem-solver with analytical mindset

    • Professional fluency in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
