Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by sales calls/visits and community networking;
Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities;
Establish and grow market share by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate and group clients;
Supports the sales department in preparing the departmental budget as well as the hotel’s overall sales goals and strategy;
Conduct as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry trade shows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan.
Requirements
Hotel school diploma or bachelor’s degree in commercial or hospitality field;
4 or more years of experience in sales department;
Have proven track record of corporate and business contacts;
Understands well how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively;
Good organization and time management skills;
Good command of both written and spoken English and local language, able to communicate with Mandarin is an advantage.
