Responsibilities

Operations

• Manage a team of technical resources for designated applications or IT processes

• Responsible for SLAs, incident management, enhancements and projects related to assigned applications or IT processes

• Develop and implement technology policies, procedures, and protocols

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems.

• Help develop solutions to bring value supporting internal customers’ strategy and initiatives

• Communicate timely and effectively with the relevant parties on all relevant topics

Projects

• Manage assigned IT projects or project deliverables directly or through subordinates or external parties

• Collaborate with internal teams, third parties, including service providers, vendors, or customers

• Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s applications, ensuring that they meet business requirements and are developed using best practices

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption of new technologies

Global Team Engagement

• Partner with the internal IT global team to keep the current applications up and running

• Partner with the internal IT global team and external players to deliver assigned projects

• Manage assigned resource pool of internal and external resources. The resources can be local or remote

• Assess and recommend process, organization and capabilities for IT team to be successful in supporting the business

• Drive continuous improvement to adapt to the changing customer and market needs

• Communicate effectively with the global team on all relevant matters

Requirements

• Degree or above

• 10+ years of experience in varying IT roles with 5+ years of experience in a managing role including team management and operations management

• 3+ years of experience in apparel sourcing or retail supply chain environment

• Experience in managing or supporting large and complex IT projects

• Previous experience in Bamboo Rose development and delivery will be a definite advantage

• Have an experience in managing ERP or other enterprise class applications from both day to day

• Experience in working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

• Understand IT applications life cycle, Software Development Life Cycle and IT test management processes

• Have experience in managing a team of technical development resources with varying experience levels and remote management

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Strong relationship building skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally and globally

• Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking skills

• Experience with Microsoft technologies is a plus
