Mental Health Support Programme for Caregivers of Students with Special Educational Needs
Responsibilities:
- To deliver psychoeducation talks, therapeutic groups, and individual counselling sessions to parents and caregivers of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary and secondary schools;
- To assist in building and maintaining a collaborative network with schools for service implementation;
- To liaise with families, school personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate service referral and engagement;
- To maintain proper case records and documentation for service monitoring and evaluation; and
- To carry out other duties as required by the supervisor(s).
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other related disciplines;
- Experience working with caregivers of SEN children or youth is an advantage;
- Strong communication, engagement and interpersonal skills; and
- Able to work evenings and Saturdays as required by service needs.
