The appointee will be responsible for
(a) organising student development programmes;
(b) helping with the implementation of large-scale College and student-led events and functions;
(c) providing support to office administration; and
(d) performing other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings or holidays, and outdoor work may be required.
Applicants should have
(i) completed secondary education, preferably with post-secondary qualification(s);
(ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects;
(iii) fast and accurate typing skill;
(iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);
(v) the ability to work as a good team player and attentiveness to details;
(vi) good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(vii) competence in IT skills and applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and other Windows applications).
Having knowledge of graphic design or short videos production, and at least 2 years’ relevant work experience will be an advantage.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
