Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the Drawing Office by working independently and preparing layout drawings accurately, on time, and in accordance with Schindler and International Standards.

• Provide support to both internal and external customers.

• Perform elevator calculations used in drawing preparation using Schindler approved tools e.g., guide brackets / separator beams / pit and machine room loadings / compensation loads in pit.

• Prepare Contract / Tender drawings of the lift configuration to suit the Clients requirement in accordance with Schindler Elevator System Standards (ESS), Group Product Lines and also International and Local Elevator and Escalator Standards.

• Select the elevator components from Schindler TK’s, Product Line Component Specification and Engineering Centre pre-approved technical solutions.

• Ensure that drawings are prepared and issued in line with target dates in the DO Planning Schedule.

• Check and sign own elevator / escalator calculations / drawings.

Requirements:

• High Diploma or above in Engineering or equivalent, including internal Application Engineering Training (Tools & methods)

• Min 2 years experiences as Draftsperson in engineering related industry.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. 

•  Works accurately & independently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
