The Senior Trade Marketing Executive will partner with the Hong Kong sales and marketing communications teams, as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders, to plan and execute trade marketing and brand event initiatives across Hong Kong and Macau. The role also works closely with the Asia Cluster team to align on campaign direction, toolkits, timelines, and performance updates, ensuring local execution is consistent with regional priorities.

Strategic Role:
Planning – support the development of trade marketing plans by channel and category, translating objectives into actionable briefs, calendars, and in-market execution plans.
Collaboration – work closely with Sales and Marketing Communications to deliver business targets, and coordinate with the Asia Cluster team to align messaging, assets, timelines, and reporting.
Ownership – own end-to-end execution for assigned initiatives (briefing, production, on-site implementation, and post-campaign review) to deliver a best-in-class customer journey across Miele venues and partner channels.
Generic job functions:
Develop, plan and execute trade marketing programs in line with marketing strategy, including B2B/B2C events, activations and roadshows for both brand and retail channels in Hong Kong and Macau.
Design, develop and deliver in-store marketing elements to support product launches and business needs (e.g., visual merchandising guidelines, POSM, and related materials) across Miele venues and partner retail.
Retail and Trade Management:
Execute marketing plans for assigned product categories and channels to drive footfall, conversion and customer engagement across Miele retail channels.
Liaise and collaborate with business partners to plan and implement joint marketing activities to achieve revenue targets.
Conduct regular site visits to Miele venues and partner points-of-sale to ensure visual merchandising and marketing materials are in excellent condition and executed to guidelines.
Coordinate with agencies and contractors on store/venue/POS updates (design, production, renovation and operational set-up), ensuring timelines, quality and budget adherence.
Support integration of local trade initiatives with HQ/Asia Cluster campaigns by localising toolkits, aligning assets and copy, and providing execution feedback and performance updates.
Manage the development and production of marketing collateral and retail co-op advertising in a cost- and time-effective manner, aligned to business goals and product launches.
Track performance and evaluate effectiveness (e.g., traffic, leads, sell-out where available), recommending optimisations to maximise ROI.
Event and Activations Management:
Develop event and activation plans to drive growth, uplift brand image and enhance customer experience across key channels.
Support the end-to-end delivery of B2B and B2C events/activations, including concepting, venue coordination, production, run-of-show, logistics and stakeholder management.
Execute agreed plans and ensure delivery against objectives (sales goals, exposure, budget and integration with overall marketing strategy).
Monitor production and on-site/event set-up logistics to ensure seamless delivery and high execution standards.
Evaluate campaign/event results and consolidate learnings for continuous improvement and sharing with internal stakeholders, including the Asia Cluster team where relevant.
Other tasks:
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Miele internal policies / code of conduct.
Track and deliver assigned operational KPIs (details to be communicated regularly, e.g., after probation and on an annual basis).
