Responsibilities
Support global sourcing strategy and supplier base, including new supplier sourcing and assessment
Monitor and manage supplier performance, including risk assessment and compliance
Conduct frequent FOB analysis and negotiate terms for optimal cost savings
Manage seasonal business allocations and critical program reallocations
Assist in consolidating and releasing policies and agreements
Initiate and participate in supplier and cross-functional meetings
Ensure compliance with general supplier agreements and social compliance standards
Maintain supplier master data, update PLMs, and support sourcing projects
Assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
DSE / Form 5 or above in Textile or related discipline
10+ years’ working knowledge of the apparel industry, covering management, merchandising, and manufacturing
Experience in strategic vendor management, especially with Asian and European vendors, and managing global suppliers
Excellent negotiation and organisational abilities
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance sourcing requirements with technical and commercial business needs
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Self-directed with strong business acumen, capable of driving solutions
Excellent Excel data analysis & PowerPoint presentation
Knowledge for PLM system will be of an advantage
Occasional travel is required
