Duties
You will lead the Information Technology (IT) Department to manage the Company’s IT function including the following key areas:
Strategic IT Planning and Budgeting
Develop and maintain an IT roadmap that aligns with business goals, scalability, and budget constraints
Manage the annual IT budget, including software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor contract negotiations
Identify and recommend technological solutions to increase operational efficiency
IT Operations (Business-As-Usual)
Oversee daily IT operations to ensure systems stability, security and efficiency
Manage core IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, SaaS applications (e.g. O365), end user computing, M365 and workplace technology
Ensure availability, performance, data protection, and recovery of business-critical systems to minimize downtime
Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and operational standards
Manage the inventory of all hardware and software assets
IT Projects & Systems Delivery
Plan, manage and deliver IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, application rollouts, and cloud adoption
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into practical IT solutions
Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and vendor deliverables
Infrastructure & Application Management
Oversee setup, configuration, and lifecycle management of infrastructure and business applications
Ensure systems are scalable, cost effective, and aligned with business goals
Support integration between infrastructure, applications, and third-party services
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Implement and enforce robust security measures, maintain sound cybersecurity practices, including endpoint protection, firewalls, antivirus, access controls, and vulnerability management
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulatory, and data protection requirements
Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to continuously improve security awareness and controls
Vendor & Outsourcing Management
Manage multiple outsourced IT service providers, including infrastructure, application support, and security vendors
Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), monitor performance, control costs, and ensure service quality
Act as the main escalation point for vendor-related issues
Stakeholder Communication
Communicate effectively with senior management on IT strategy, risks, incidents, and investment needs
Provide clear, non-technical explanations of IT matters to business stakeholders
Build strong working relationships with vendors, partners, and internal teams
Requirements
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
Minimum 15 years of relevant IT and project management experience, of which 6 years should be at managerial level
Strong hands-on experience in IT operations and project delivery
Proven leadership ability to manage vendors, set priorities, and explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure (on prem and/or cloud), business applications and system integration, and cybersecurity principles and controls
Proven experience in managing outsourced IT vendors and service providers
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with senior management
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands on execution in medium enterprise environment
