Responsibilities

• Formulate a comprehensive work plan for the production department

• Oversee and manage the production process to ensure timely initiation and completion of all product categories, meeting delivery targets

• Contribute to establishing criteria for selecting production suppliers, identify suitable suppliers, and provide relevant supplier information

• Monitor the entire production and development process, supporting suppliers in promptly resolving issues that impact quality or progress

• Proactively address and improve quality issues during production, collaborating with the design department to develop and implement effective solutions

• Negotiate effectively with suppliers and propose cost-saving measures to optimize and control production costs

• Guide and support merchandisers in maintaining strong relationships with suppliers

• Conduct supplier inspections as needed to address production requirements and resolve unexpected challenges

• Provide regular updates on production progress and delivery schedules, while overseeing the warehousing of finished goods

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• 10 years or above experience in apparel or garment merchandising with minimum 5 years of managerial experience

• Solid experience in China market is a MUST

• Self-motivated, aggressive, able to work independently and under pressure

• Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills, cooperate with teams and stakeholders to achieve company goals

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese

• Good PC knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• 5-day work in Dougguan Office
