The Office of Undergraduate Studies of CUHK Business School, a vibrant and an energetic office, is looking for a Project Assistant II to join the team. The appointee will be responsible for
(a) assisting in student career development programmes/events such as training workshops, recruitment talks and mentorship programmes;
(b) processing different career-related student applications;
(c) managing the student portal by posting job openings/ events and consolidating registrations;
(d) handling general student enquiries;
(e) maintaining databases and preparing regular reports; and
(f) performing any other tasks as assigned. Working outside normal working hours may be required.
Applicants should have
(i) completed secondary education or above;
(ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics; OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese, English and Mathematics): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects;
(iii) fast and accurate word-processing skill;
(iv) good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
(v) at least 1 year’s work experience, preferably in student/youth services or related fields at tertiary institutions;
(vi) a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
(vii) a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail;
(viii) strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
(ix) excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Having knowledge of Office 365, including maintenance and update of SharePoint site is a definite advantage. Having work experience in the tertiary education sector, and a good track record of organising student activities will be advantageous. Fresh university graduates with active participation in non-academic student life are also welcome to apply. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
