We are now looking for caliber candidates for our Accounting Department:
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the daily processing of City Ledger transfers from the Front Office and all invoices are dispatched within established timeframes
- Monitor and manage credit card disputes, chargebacks, and guest refunds
- Collaborate daily with the Income Auditor to verify room and F&B deposits received from Sales, Event Management, and F&B outlets
- Ensure Agoda commission calculations are accurately adjusted to reflect the 3% Hotel Accommodation Tax (HAT)
- Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations of OTA bookings against the Hotel Property Management System
- Perform daily audits of credit card settlements against bank statements to minimize transaction errors and potential chargebacks
- Maintain and update credit card guarantee approval codes for approved credit accounts on a timely basis
- Support the Accounts Receivable team and coordinate closely with Front Office and Sales departments to ensure guest folio accuracy
- Assist in the timely preparation of aging reports, journal vouchers, and month-end closing procedures
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the hotel industry is a MUST
- LCCI Level 3/Diploma, or above in Accounting, Hospitality, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possesses strong communication skills
- Immediate availability is preferred
