Responsibilities:

• • • • • • • • • Statutory Compliance: Act as the Authorized Signatory (AS) under the Registered General Building Contractor (RGBC) register, ensuring all site works strictly comply with the Buildings Ordinance and related regulations.

                • Project Oversight: Oversee and steer assigned building and infrastructure projects from inception to completion, managing overall progress, manpower allocation, quality control, and financial performance.

                • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project timelines, construction methodologies, and strict budget controls to maximize efficiency and mitigate risks.

                • Vendor & Sub-contractor Management: Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants to guarantee timely project delivery according to contractual specifications.

                • Tendering & Technical Proposals: Lead the preparation of technical proposals, method statements, and tender submissions for high-value upcoming projects.

                • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and government authorities (such as the Buildings Department, ASD, or AA) regarding project execution and statutory submissions.

                                        • Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Building Studies, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related construction discipline.

                                        • Professional Qualification: Must be currently registered (or fully qualified to be registered) as an Authorized Signatory (AS) under the RGBC category with the Hong Kong Buildings Department.

                                        • Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 years’ robust experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, airport projects, or complex commercial developments.

                                        • Technical & Regulatory Knowledge:

                                          • Deep understanding of the Hong Kong Buildings Ordinance, site safety supervision plans, and BD submission procedures.

                                          • Familiarity with Mainland China engineering practices, standards, and regulatory requirements is highly preferred.

                                        • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

                                        • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, highly independent, and possess exceptional negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse project teams and stakeholders.
