Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in the creative execution of seasonal swimwear collection, translating the Head Designer’s vision from concept to final sample

• Synthesize market research and global trend analysis to create fashion-forward designs that align with brand identities and commercial goals

• Drive the creation of detailed tech packs, technical drawings, and sketches, ensuring every design detail is articulated for production

• Curate seasonal fabrications, trims, prints, and color palettes in collaboration with the merchandising and sourcing teams to find the perfect balance of innovation and feasibility

• Collaborate closely with pattern makers and sample room to navigate technical challenges,  ensuring fit and construction meet quality standards

• Take an active role in fittings, providing design direction expertise on revisions and ensuring the aesthetic integrity of the garment is not compromised

• Act as a creative point of contact for world-famous brands, confidently presenting concepts and integrating feedback into the design process

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in swimwear design

• Solid experience in swimwear design, with a deep understanding of fit, fabrication, and construction

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, 3D (e.g. CLO), AI-supported design workflows is a plus

• Excellent fashion sense with strong trend awareness

• Good communication and presentation skills

• A self-driven approach with ability to manage timelines in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

• Fluent in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage
