Responsibilities
Strategic Commercial Leadership
Formulate and execute comprehensive annual and long-term APAC sales strategies
Align regional sales targets with global corporate objectives and profitability margins
Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and industry disruptions to pivot strategies proactively
Regional Team & Talent Management
Direct, mentor, and evaluate country-level sales leaders and account managers across the region
Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and pipeline management metrics
Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative sales culture through structured training programs
Business Development & Key Account Management
Secure and expand relationships with major global brands, buying offices, and regional buying agents
Identify untapped market segments and build alternative sales distribution channels
Personally lead negotiations for high-value contracts and strategic commercial partnerships
Operational & Financial Excellence
Take full P&L accountability for the Asia-Pacific sales division.
Implement robust pricing architectures to balance market expansion with margin health
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Product Development to optimize fulfillment
Requirements
DSE / Form 5 or above
15+ years of progressive sales experience within garment zippers and trims sectors
8+ years of senior executive leadership experience managing multi-country, cross-cultural teams
Documented track record of delivering multi-million dollars revenue growth in the APAC region
Deep understanding of Asian supply chains, particularly in production hubs like China, Vietnam, and South Asia
Established, active network with US and European Buying Offices based in Asia
Expertise in regional regulatory environments, trade policies, and commercial legal frameworks
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in one or more Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin) is a strong advantage
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, metrics-driven approach to solving complex problems
Highest level of professional ethics, corporate governance, and transparency
Proven capacity to manage high-pressure situations and navigate fast-paced organizational changes
Strategic thinker capable of analyzing high-level financial data while maintaining a sharp focus on granular operational execution
