Responsibilities

• Supporting the Merchandising and Purchansing Team and reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the candidate will assit in following up both specific products enquiries and more general themed enquiries by sourcing products and searching for relevant suppliers, from senfing out relevant requests to collecting physical samples and preparing the submission to be sent to customers

• Visit exhibitions in HK and mainland China

• Search for new trends and products idea

• Visit suppliers' factories in mainland China

• When necessary, will support the team in other activities related to the purchasing process including quality inspection in order to learn more and gain confidence in quality standards

• Issue performa invoice to Customer and / or purchanse order to supplier

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Good English and Mandarin, both spoken and written

• Good in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office

• Willing to learn about garment trims (bottons, labels and other hardware related to but not limited to fashion accessories) and their supply chain

• Detail-minded, good team player but independent and able to work under pressure

• Willing to carry out trips to mainland suppliers and production sites when border reopens as important part of his job duties
