Dr. Wlliam Chen

Dr. Chen has over 20 years financial management experience with local and global high-growth companies in food & beverage chain stores, manufacturing and distribution for FMCG and retailing sectors with operations in the Greater China & Asia Pacific region. He is currently a CFO & General Manager (HK) for Hui Lau Shan Group, a dessert chain with over 260 stores in Hong Kong, PRC, South Korea and Malaysia.

Dr. Chen earned his doctorate degree in Business Administration from Curtin University, Australia. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, Fellow Chartered Management Accountant in UK, a Fellow Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Tax Adviser and a Certified Management Consultant in Hong Kong, a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant in Australia.

Dr. Chen is Chairman of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, HK branch. He is Griffith Business School's Bachelor of Business (Hong Kong) Industry Advisory Committee member and a financial expert of HK Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications. He is also director of several non-profit organizations. He speaks regularly at various professional associations and finance forum.
