Dr William Chen has more than 20 years’ financial and business management experience with local and global high-growth companies in the Greater China and Asia Pacific region. Since joining Hui Lau Shan in 2011, Dr Chen has worked as CFO and been at the helm of company’s growth and expansion into markets in China, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam, France and North America and is currently HK General Manager of the company.
Dr. Chen earned his doctorate degree in Business Administration from Curtin University, Australia. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, Fellow Chartered Management Accountant in UK, a Fellow Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Tax Adviser and a Certified Management Consultant in Hong Kong, a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant in Australia.
Further to his contribution to food & beverage sector, Dr Chen shows commitment to education and accountancy & finance professional development. He is North Asia Board member and Chairman of HK Branch of Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. Dr. Chen currently sits on the Griffith University’s Business School Strategic Advisory Board as an international member and is also an Adjunct Professor of the Business School. He has served a specialist and financial expert of HKCAAVQ.
Dr Chen won the Griffith Business School’s International Outstanding Alumnus Award and CGMA China Most Valued CFO of the Year 2016 Highly Recommended Award.
