The Deputy Head of Information Technology reporting to Head of Information Technology, is a senior manager position responsible for technology planning and daily management of the Information Technology Division to improve operational efficiency and meeting business objectives.
The position provides a stable and cost-effective IT environment to support business and aviation security operations. The position delivers IT solutions to improve operational efficiency and meet business objectives. The role is accountable for safeguarding IT assets and information for regulatory compliance and mitigating risks.

- Develop, implement and oversee IT strategies, processes, and standards to manager the use of information technology;
- Establish roadmap for technology adoption and replacement;
- Allocate resources and budget to achieve business and IT division goals;
- Prioritise and drive the implementation of infrastructure to ensure cost effective, stable, and efficient environment to support business goals;
- Approve technical solution and allocate resources to deliver solutions to meet business goals;
- Prioritise and drive information risk and security initiatives to safeguard information and IT assets, and for regulatory compliance and meeting aviation security requirements;
- Oversee IT service management to ensure efficient IT services delivery and drive ongoing enhancements for improved services quality;
- Manage suppliers and contractors to deliver quality services; and
- Establish plan to develop skills and retain resources.
- Bachelor degree in Information & Communication Technologies, Computer Science or relevant disciplines;
- 8+ years of relevant experience in IT organisations, with at least 5 years in managerial roles in various IT functions including infrastructure, application delivery, security, and/or IT operations;
- Proven track record in technology planning, project management and vendor management;
- Extensive background in developing, maintaining and supporting computer systems;
- Good understanding of IT service management framework, cyber security, and risk management;
- Knowledge in Cloud, DevOps, Web technologies, and SAP preferred;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience in aviation or aviation security industry an advantage;
- Holder of relevant IT professional certifications including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) an advantage; and
- Fluent in both English and Chinese, Putonghua a definite asset.
