Job description :
Manage the preparation of the merchandising plans.
Take part in formulating and executing assortment strategies.
Own the merchandising calendar - directly responsible for managing team adherence to the critical deadlines of assigned area.
Bring customer and market perspectives to the design and product development process. Thoroughly understands the different brand's target customer by tracking attitude and lifestyle trends.
Ability to apply trend forecast and influence in the development of merchandising calendar.
Ensure the successful implementation of merchandising plan by collaborating and influencing with relevant Operations teams and retail stores.
Derive and drive sales and sell-through target by product category/ collections/ concepts as aligned in product strategy.
Align with Product Planning, monitor the rolling OTB and action on sales trends and budgets, inventory goals, and monitor forecast and replenishment regularly.
Requirements :
Education: Bachelor's degree,
Minimum 8-10 years of merchandising experience in multinational retail companies, with a background in buying and/or planning in the Cosmetic & beauty industry.
Strong financial and analytical merchandising experience.
Japan's market exposure will be an advantage.
An independent yet collaborative team player, agile, self-starter, motivated, customer focused and results oriented.
An influential communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation and storytelling skills to manage key stakeholders across global, brands, regional and local markets.
Creative, strategic & critical thinking, strong in planning and implementation.
Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
