Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive analyses of economic, business, and technological trends to improve operational efficiency, focusing on HK and PRC markets in the textiles and clothing industries
Produce analysis on factors determining the strong performance of competitors.
Keep abreast of policy changes in HK and PRC, particularly those affecting the textiles and clothing sectors
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, taking the initiative in both ongoing and ad-hoc research projects
Responsible for business research and market opportunity assessment
Perform desktop research to discover new trends and customer behaviors
Handle chamber of commerce matters, assist in external contacting and applying for government funds
Requirements
A university degree in Business, Fashion & Textiles, or a related field
1-2 years of relevant experience in market research or policy analysis in textiles and clothing industry preferred
A stable, committed, and proactive approach to work, with a strong desire to learn quickly and a genuine interest in analytical tasks
Well-versed in MS Office and Chinese word processing, with proficiency of using data analysis tools and software
Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills and detail-minded.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
Willingness to work in both Guangdong Province and Hong Kong
