Job Duties:

• Perform routine lab operations and equipment maintenance.
• Process and analyse clinical samples according to SOPs.
• Extract DNA/RNA from clinical samples and conduct cell culture.
• Assist in implementing quality control and documentation programs.
• Help develop new protocols and evaluate new technologies.
• Participate in research and development activities.

Additional Duties for Medical Technologist:

• Oversee daily lab operations and workload.
• Supervise and train Associate Medical Technologists.
• Evaluate and develop cell culture and genetic testing methods.
• Assist in preparing SOPs and evaluating instruments.
• Coordinate with service providers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in medical laboratory sciences or related field.
• Certificate of registration (MLT Part I) and a valid practising certificate issued by the Hong Kong MLT Board are required.
• At least 3 years of experience in genetic research or medical labs. Less experience will be considered as Associate Medical Technologist.
