Responsibilities
Interface with overseas clients and China suppliers for all phases of order management : Quotations, sampling, specifications, purchase order receipt and issuance, order tracking, inspection arrangement, inspection report review and shipment
Review client provided packaging to ensure compliance with overseas regulations and customer and retailer requirements
Interface with internal Operations Department to ensure all matters related to compliance, testing, quality, factory audits and inspections are performed on time to facilitate client orders and on-time shipments
Assist the internal Operations Department with sourcing, factory identification and negotiations
Interface with internal Shipping Department to ensure shipments are booked in accordance with client and retailer requirements
Update clients daily on outstanding issues and reporting matters
Report to Company Senior Management
Requirements
DSE / Form 5 or above
8+ years' experience in Shipping to overseas importers and retailers of consumer products from China
Experience with Target and/or Walmart procedures for suppliers and software
Experience and knowledge of China supplier production and procedures from tooling to shipment for consumer products – especially Toys
Proficient in Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Good organization skills of workstation and soft copy files
Able to work well with other departments and colleagues
