We are looking forward an experienced Reservations Manager to work in our Hotel :
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Revenue Manager in supervision and manage overall operation procedures of reservations department.
- Ensure that all reservation team members and the day to day operation is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage and control the room inventory and the critical periods.
- Prepare and update the daily room availability and reports to concerned departments.
- Conduct training and coaching to subordinate(s) so as to improve the efficiency of the service in handling reservations.
- To raise awareness of the close-out dates while the critical booking situation exists, take appropriate actions to update the status in the hotel system and sales.
- Prepare various reports for regular meetings.
- Well communicate with Front Office and closely monitoring the development of forecasted occupancy on a daily basis and acts accordingly to ensure maximum occupancy at an average room rate in line with the budget.
Requirement:
- Diploma or above holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in hotel reservations.
- Good communication, interpersonal and computer skills
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese, English and proficient in Mandarin
- Familiar with computer software and programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, practical experience in Opera System would be an advantage.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Reservation Manager.
We are looking forward an experienced Reservations Supervisor to work in our Hotel :
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operation of Reservation department and improve reservation processes with compliance on brand standards
- Assist on managing room availability, rate or booking integration issues to maximize hotel occupancy and average daily rate
- Manage telephone, email and fax enquiries in a prompt, courteous and professional customer service at all times, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in accordance with company standards without delay
- Assist in maximizing hotel revenue by managing reservations while coordinating with other departments in order to attain the best possible occupancy and rate
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the superiors
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Reservations, preferable at least 1 years in supervisory or managerial level
- Excellent telephone and email manner
- Able to manage large volumes of information in a clear, logical and concise manner
- Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills
