Responsibilities
- Operate within a specified budget to procure goods and services for the organization.
- Compare prices among various vendors to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Discuss and negotiate with contractors on pricing, mode of shipping, and delivery timelines.
- Regularly order goods, such as office supplies, to maintain inventory levels.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and satisfactory quality of received goods.
- Verify invoice accuracy and authorize the accounts payable department for payment.
- Evaluate vendor performance to determine the continuation of purchasing relationships.
- Conduct end-to-end process verification.
- Enter inventory and order data into a computer database.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree
- Over 2 years of procurement experience
- Strong negotiation abilities and good verbal communication skills
- Timely in following up on contracts and checking on backordered items
- Proficient in budget management and possess strong math skills to quickly calculate the cost of goods and services
- Consistently reliable and upholds ethical standards, avoiding any abuse of authority or misappropriation of funds.
- Proficient in English and Chinese.
- Based in Hong Kong, but can support teams in the American region (US, Mexico, Brazil)
- Starts at 7 AM (can WFH in the early morning) and goes to the Hong Kong office around 11 AM for the remainder of the working hours (total of 8 hours)
