Responsibilities
Manage costing activities including quotation management, cost analysis, price negotiation
Manage new product development and schedule
Liaison with our retail clients, mainly consisting of large multi-national chain stores
Solid experience in merchandising role for international trading company is a must
Overseeing & organizing pre-production scheduling, lab testing issues, artwork development, and factory audit issues
Communicate with China vendors to ensure orders on track
Requirements
DSE / Form 5 or above
Minimum 3 years+ solid experience in Christmas and other seasonal products merchandising, include sourcing, costing and project management
Strong in sourcing, able to handle the overseas customers and China factories independently
Detail oriented, independent, well organized
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Travel to mainland China and overseas when necessary
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
Candidates with less esperience would be considered Assistant Merchandiser
