Responsibilities

• Work with test laboratory and manufacturer to find solutions for Electrical Safety, EMC and Fitness-For-Use problems

• Conduct in-house evaluation tests in regards of performance and safety

• Set up test methodology

• Reviewing testing result and technical enquiries follow up

• Test report / certificate evaluation and product review as risk assessment study

• Review test protocol with test laboratory for the product

• Pro-active monitor and control the test lead time to match with project development schedule

• For cases of non-compliance found, Quality Engineer needs to co-ordinate between laboratory and supplier for improvement solution and meet schedule deadline

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Candidate with 2-5 years relevant experience in product safety testing is an advantage

• International Electrical Safety, EMC and Fitness-For-Use compliance understanding

• Good communication skill with fluency in Putonghua and English

• Working experiences in Consumer Electronics / Electrical Household Appliances

• Strong team player
