Our client, a leading insurance company looking for a Senior IT Manager. This role requires a strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and extensive experience in managing IT projects within the insurance sector.

 
Senior IT Manager (Insurance - legacy systems migration)
Job Duties: 
  • Application Onboarding and Offboarding

    • Oversee the onboarding of new applications and manage changes at the local level.

    • Coordinate the decommissioning and archiving of legacy accounting systems, ensuring a smooth transition.

    Data and Systems Migration

    • Oversee migration processes, ensuring compliance with local policies and coordinating with stakeholders.

    Go-Live Preparation

    • Validate operating models and IT controls, leading the preparation of deployment checklists.

Job Requirements: 
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Project Manager, or Product Owner.

    • Familiarity with SDLC release methodologies, particularly in Azure integration/middleware.

    • Experience in managing technology delivery projects, especially legacy systems migration.

    • Strong understanding of IT governance compliance and the ability to manage documentation effectively.

    • PMP certification is preferred.

    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
