Responsibilities:
Collaborate with World Table Tennis (WTT) and the Hong Kong, China Table Tennis Association (HKTTA) to develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the WTT Finals Hong Kong;
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely and successful delivery;
Coordinate with WTT, HKTTA, venues and vendors on all logistical aspects of the event, including venue set up, licensing, ticketing, booths activation, live streaming, manpower management, community programme and on-site operations etc.;
Identify potential local sponsors and develop strategies to secure sponsorship deals and subsequent sponsorship management;
Oversee the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the event, include ticketing, promotion etc.;
Collaborate with WTT marketing teams and the appointed Agency/ies to create promotional materials, campaigns and events;
Maintain regular communications and project updates with all stakeholders, including WTT, HKTTA, government departments, sponsors, event partners etc.;
Manage the project budget, ensuring cost control and financial accountability; and
Attend meetings and presentations on behalf of the WTT and HKTTA.
Qualifications/Expectations:
A recognized Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution / a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent (Sports/ Recreation/Communications subject studied is an advantage);
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in related fields, preferably mega event organization or sports organizations;
Proficiency in written & spoken English & Chinese; knowing Putonghua will be an advantage;
Familiar with social media platform, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator or 3D software;
Strong organizational skills and attention to details;
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); fast Chinese word processing is an advantage;
Immediate available is preferable;
This role is based in Hong Kong, China. Applicants with the necessary permits to work in Hong Kong will be prioritized.
What We Offer:
Six months’ contract period with competitive monthly salary based on experience and industry standards at HKD50,000-$60,000 per month subject to qualifications & experiences with one month gratuity after completion of the contract.
Fringe benefits including MPF, local transport allowance and fixed monthly allowance for mobile phone expenses.
