Executive Assistant (Ref. 240923009-IE)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support to academic programmes, student records, registration, timetabling and examination matters;
(b) compile statistical reports and maintain database for the Office;
(c) provide support to meetings and committees;
(d) assist in organization of activities and events of the Office; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his delegates.
The appointee may be required to work outside office hours.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) at least one year of relevant working experience;
(c) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
(d) proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office and Chinese Word Processing; and preferably with knowledge of desktop publishing software such as Photoshop and Illustrator;
(e) good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills;
(f) strong problem solving skills and analytical ability; and
(g) self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test and a computer test.

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
