Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor analysis, consumer preferences to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
- Identify and develop proper proposal with the best competitive pricing strategy to enhance overall profitability
- Execute projects from concept stage to validation, development and product release
- Project management from research and planning to ideation, creating product requirements, work with engineering and marketing teams for successful product launch
- Work closely with the product compliance team to ensure product meets or exceeds all relevant safety regulations
- Oversee the creation of detailed product specifications, prototypes and functional designs with Product Managers and Designers to ensure products meet customer expectations
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Engineering
- With consumer electronics product development experience preferred
- Solid experience with managing product lines in a dynamic cross-functional environment that includes identifying and analyzing target market trends, consumer/customer needs, assessing competition and successfully creating or assisting creation of product strategies
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- With growth mindset to challenge status quo for continuous improvement
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills with a knack for conveying complex ideas clearly
