Responsibilities

• Research and develop fabrics suitable for lingerie, ensuring quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal

• Collaborate with sales and designers to recommend appropriate fabrics for specific product lines

• Test fabrics for durability, comfort, elasticity, breathability, and other performance factors

• Liaise with suppliers to source materials and ensure compliance with quality standards

• Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and sustainable practices in textiles

• Ensure all fabrics meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

• Assist in resolving any fabric-related issues during the production phase

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Proven experience in fabric development or testing, preferably in intimate wear or lingerie

• Strong knowledge of textile properties, testing methodologies, and manufacturing processes

• Ability to solve technical issues related to fabric performance

• Familiarity with sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly production processes is a plus

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
