Duties

Your major duties will include:

• Provide design & technical support, conduct incident investigation & fault finding, and implementation of improvement projects/solutions for the cable car system

• Coordinate and work with different parties in carrying out technical activities and site works for the cable car system, including planning of major maintenance, asset replacement, modification and technical studies

• Review methods and procedures to carry out above works to ensure statutory and safety requirements are met

• Provide support to the Electrical and Electronic Team to carry out maintenance tasks

• Perform the role of Cable Car Operator under the Ropeways Ordinance for operating the cable car system on need basis

• Perform ad hoc projects or duties as required

Requirements

• Holder of Degree in Electrical or Electronic, Mechatronics, Marine, Building Services, Control and Automation Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent 

• Minimum of 6 years of working experience in carrying out maintenance, implementation, electrical system upgrade, or technical studies on an aerial ropeway or similar engineering industries, in which at least 2 years in supervisory level

• Experience in application of variable speed drive systems and the SCADA System or PLC control system will be advantageous

• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (REW) Grade A or B is preferable 

• Holder of driving license will be advantageous

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

• Possess a high sense of safety and responsibility

• Possess good communication skills and positive attitude

• Possess Good computer skills (Word, Excel) 

• Candidates with less experience or qualification will be considered as Technical Support Officer
