Job Duty:
- To assist in preparation of quotation / tender documents in relation to the promotion of the scheme on smart food waste collection in public rental housing estates (the Scheme);
- To assist in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the Scheme, including contract administration and performance management;
- To manage promotion projects in relation to the Schemes and supervise the performance of the service providers;
- To coordinate inputs and draft replies for social media post;
- To conduct survey for the trial use of simplified food waste smart recycling bins (the Trial) and analyse the public feedback on the simplified FWSRBs;
- To liaise and keep close contact with all relevant parties, including but not limited to residents / management offices of participating residential premises, the Government departments, and users of the sites to harmonize and seamless execute the implementation of all necessary promotion works;
- To respond to public enquiries and complaints and prepare statistical analysis and written reporting;
- To prepare and update various documents, including information notes, publications, guidelines, presentation decks and other necessary branding materials in relation to the Scheme and the Trial;
- To design, update and maintain websites based on the latest policy on the expansion of food waste collection network;
Requirement:
- a Hong Kong First or Second Class honours degree, or equivalent;
- at least 8 years of full-time post-qualification working experience. Experience in environment protection, sustainability and project management is preferred;
- at least 1.5 years of working experience in the Government in the fields of food waste reduction, food waste collection and recycling, or other related domains at supervisory level to manage project(s) under the Government’s funding schemes related to environmental protection;
- extensive hand-on field works experience to coordinate various stakeholders and organizing promotion/ public relation events;
- good English and Chinese writing skills, fluency in spoken English and Cantonese and proficiency in Putonghua;
- sound knowledge in Government procedures and requirements for procurement and funding schemes;
- good data analysis, project coordination, presentation and computer skills (including the use of Adobe Illustrator);
- good communication and interpersonal skills; and
- ability to demonstrated proficiency in collaborating with diverse media to arrange interviews, video productions, and news coverage.
