Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing all styles on order for customers

• Involved in the order process from start to finish - approving & commenting on lab dips, tims, fits, pre-production samples, production

• Accustomed to working in a fast paced environment and delivering to tight deadlines

• Good woring knowledge of fabrications

• Competent in using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CAD programmes

• Excellent interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate at all levels

• Ability to work independently

• Naturally enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to deliver solutions

• Provide advice of initial samples, ensuring that manufactured garments match initial design specifications

• Liaise with the Buyers on costs / margins to ensure that the range can realistically be bought with-in the given budget

• Working with the Design team to help create and present the company trends presentations, the 'key looks" information for the buyer and the company colour palettes

• Design ranges with buyer based on sales and trend information, including updating core lines

Requirement

• Form 5 or above

• CAD work including production design packs, artworks, graphics, prints and packaging

• Research, update and feedback information on trends, colour and fabric from catwalk and directional ship information to buyer and team

• Liaising with suppliers on product and design detail

• When required, undertake factory visits and competitive shipping trips in the UK, USA and Far East with full reports and feedback to the Buying & Design Teams

• To attend Trade and Trend Shows, feeding information back to both the Design and the Buying teams

• Travel overseas and China to review and interact with the merchandising team and the sales team is a msut
