Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of garment raw materials and negotiate with supplier on costing and delivery

• Ensure the supplier to proceed testing of trim to meet with required standard and requirement

• Plan and monitor the on-time delivery of trims to the offshore manufacturing facilities

• Co-ordinate with the internal stakeholder of merchandising, logistics and accounting departments about the planning and procurement

• Co-ordinate with factory warehouse to validate update stock list

• Source new suppliers & negotiate buying price

• Share purchase & shipment information with various departments & translate customers comments to factory

• Assist in materials calculation & conduct cost reports for analysis

• Keep updated on new trends & market information

• Provide guidance for overseas subordinate for improvement of process

• Undertake other duties assigned by the Management

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Solid training in Merchandising / Clothing / Textile or related discipline

• Hands-on experience in sourcing garment raw materials for offshore manufacturing facilities

• Familiar with lab-test practice and international standard

• Experienced with ERP system 

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Meticulous, good problem-solving and negotiation skill

• Proficient in Microsoft Office application
