Responsibilities

• Research and analyze latest fabric trends in global markets and develop innovative fabric application for the garment and home textile collections

• Lead the development of new fabrics and collections, including initial design concepts, sampling, customer presentation and final approval

• Collaborate closely with customers and factories throughout the development process to ensure alignment on product vision

• Conduct thorough evaluations of fabric samples to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

• Maintain accurate records of fabric samples, supplier communications, and development timelines

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Development or Merchandising in garment clothing or home textile industry

• Innovative mindset with a strong understanding of global fashion trends

• Demonstrate quick thinking and proactivity in sourcing and utilizing fabrics

• Solid understanding of fabric properties, manufacturing process and color and quality standards

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently while coordinating and managing the overall development and sampling process

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
