General Manager
Job Description:
  • Conduct long term direction and growth and new development strategy for business.
  • Conduct market research and promote company performance.
  • Set directions on new or future development (business partnership, brand positioning, market propositions, geographies, products, clientele, etc.)
  • Execute different business strategies to support company growth and business expansion 
  • Design and build an effective business infrastructure in terms of providing effective and efficient functional support to achieve business strategy.
  • Promote a performance-driven and customer-focus culture in supporting Company.
  • Drive change management.
  • Spearhead policies, strategies and directional growth.
  • Ownership of budgets and sales revenue
  • Manage growth and achieve business targets
  • Ensure internal effectiveness and efficiency with right structure and delegation of authorities and responsibilities
  • Coordinate within and external service providers to achieve effectiveness and results
  • Make final endorsement on major business decisions impacting business like operations mode, marketing and promotions, etc.
  • Manage the identification, development and implementation of systems and processes within the Company to ensure organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee training and employee performance for expansion to continuously grow the team, ensure employee retention and succession planning.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years experience as Head of Operations, Strategy, Business Management & Planning or similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record in strategic leadership and policy development.
  • Proven track record in customer success.
  • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global members of the institutions team and the cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Putonghua.
