Responsibilities:
- Ensure that user, stakeholder, and brand viewpoints are represented throughout the design process.
- Guide the identification of user, brand, business, and technical factors to define the requirements for the digital product experience.
- Determine key screen types for different devices (such as desktop, mobile, and connected devices) that suit the best user scenarios, and develop comprehensive wireframes, task flows, and interface solutions.
- Contribute to all comprehensive digital product design deliverables, including information architecture, design principles, wireframes, user interface components, interactive prototypes, design systems and guidelines, as well as product specifications.
- Develop several iterative digital experience concepts, beginning with low-fidelity interactive prototypes and explorations of user interface designs.
- Prototype digital experiences at various levels of fidelity throughout the entire product design process, including paper prototypes, tools like Sketch, Figma, XD, InVision, and coded prototypes.
- Define, oversee, and enhance design systems to guide the progression of a digital product across all stages of its lifecycle.
- Illustrate the client's brand expression through visually appealing solutions that are intuitive and justifiable.
- Present design concepts and experience principles to clients in a clear and engaging manner during design review sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with product owners and agile development teams to align with the design intent during the implementation and deployment processes.
- Act as a design ambassador by participating in and assisting with the planning of team and community events, workshops, and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Visual Design, Interactive Design or related field
- 5+ years experience as digital product designer in consultancy, agency or in-house
- Experience with user testing and design tools (Figma, InVision, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions in digital products is an advantage.
- Understanding of China and global digital market trends
- Excellent time management skills, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
