Job Duty:
- support in developing and handling a project financial management system to keep track of and review all the documentation, including invoices, credit notes, discount vouchers, delivery notes, requisitions and so on in respect of all equipment/plant/materials utilised, the relevant insurance premium, relevant subcontract documents and so on in respect of all subcontract work undertaken and/or completed by subcontractors and for which payment is applied for the E&CI works
and the operation of the CWTC. - monitor all incoming and outgoing financial transactions under SFC to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract requirements;
- process and verify contractor’s monthly statements;
- calculate fluctuations for monthly operation payments;
- examine and alert officers of problems associated with the manpower, financial submissions and records;
- calculate the pain/gain share per requirements of the target cost contract terms;
- Support in developing and handling project management to keep track of project status;
- Assist supervisors on contract management;
- Maintain and update necessary data base, provide support and advice on project allocated;
- Perform any other related duties, ad hoc tasks and assignments as assigned by the Government Representative.
Requirement:
- degree in accountancy from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent, or be a registered student of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Qualification
Programme, or equivalent; - over 5 year working experience in accounting or related duties such as financial accounting, cost and management accounting, system development, internal audit, investigatory accounting; and at least 4 years working experience in target cost accounting
- Level 3 in English Language and Chinese Language in the HKDSEE or HKCEE,
- strong communication skills to support senior management, good leadership abilities with the capacity to guide and support a team, adaptable and able to thrive in a changing environment.
