Key Responsibilities:

Construction Monitoring:
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of construction works.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and relevant regulations.
- Identify and report any deviations, defects, or non-compliance issues to the project management team.

Quality Control:
- Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specified standards and requirements.
- Verify that construction works meet the expected quality and workmanship standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions.

Construction Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date construction records, including site inspection reports, non-compliance notices, and photographic documentation.
- Review and verify contractor's progress claims and variations against the actual construction works completed.
- Prepare detailed reports on construction progress, highlighting any issues or concerns that may impact project timelines or quality.

Coordination and Communication:
- Liaise and collaborate with the project management team, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and coordination of construction activities.
- Participate in site meetings to provide updates on construction progress, address technical queries, and resolve construction-related issues.
- Facilitate communication between different stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Health and Safety Compliance:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices on the construction site.
- Identify potential hazards and risks, and ensure appropriate safety measures are in place.
- Report any safety incidents or concerns, and assist in the investigation of accidents or near-miss events.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends, construction techniques, and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of construction standards, processes, and best practices within the property company.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for enhancing construction quality and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience as a Clerk of Works in local developer
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify construction defects or non-compliance issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with project stakeholders.
- Proficient in reading construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
