Job Duty:
- To assist in the strategic planning, implementation and monitoring of the food waste collection scheme in public markets and government quarters, including contract administration and performance management of food waste smart recycling bin (FWSRB) contract and promotion work, support to procurement of FWSRBs;
- To assist in the strategic planning, implementation and monitoring of the food waste collection scheme for the 15th National Games;
- To monitor the operation of FWSRBs and undertake a supervisory role in food waste collection scheme in public rental housing (PRH) estates, which included conducting site assessment, performing surveillance checks and resolving complaints in PRH estates;
- To coordinate and maintain close communication with all relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to residents / management offices of participating residential premises, Government departments, and site users, to ensure seamless execution of all necessary works in order to achieve the goal set in the Policy Address;
- To respond to inquiries and complaints from the public, concerned stakeholders and estate management offices while also preparing statistical analysis;
- To prepare and update various documents, including papers, information notes, publications, guidelines, presentation materials, and other necessary items related to the food waste collection;
- To analyse the operational of FWSRBs, including data on participation and user experience, with the aim of formulating enhancement measures for both the current operational phase and future planning stage; and
Requirement:
- a Hong Kong First or Second Class honours degree, or equivalent, in a relevant science or engineering subject;
- 8 years of relevant full-time post-qualification working experience;
- 3.5 years of working experience in the Government in the fields of food waste reduction, food waste recovery, food waste recycling, food waste facilities management or other related domains, of which 1.5 years of working experience at supervisory level overseeing a territory-wide food waste recycling project;
- good English and Chinese writing skills, fluency in spoken English and Cantonese and proficiency in Putonghua;
- sound knowledge in Government procedures and requirements for procurement and funding schemes; and
- good data analysis, project coordination and presentation skills.
