Job Responsibilities
- Manage the processing of import and export bills, ensuring adherence to banking regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as compliance, credit, and operations to ensure smooth execution of trade finance transactions.
- Monitor and evaluate risks associated with trade finance operations, providing recommendations for improvements to mitigate potential issues.
- Create and maintain detailed reports on trade finance activities, including transaction volumes, discrepancies, and processing timelines, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engage in improvements to the loan system and perform related User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the implementation of best practices in trade finance operations.
- Carry out any additional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, or a related business field.
- At least 2 years of substantial experience in corporate and commercial credit administration and loan documentation in a banking setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of loan processing, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Experience in credit control and monitoring functions is advantageous.
- Meticulous, a strong collaborator, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Skilled in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- Fluent in Mandarin, with strong proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Energetic, positive, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and meet challenging deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
