Reporting into senior leadership and leading a team of professional individuals, the Executive Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan for the organizations' mental health services and school-based services, including driving new mental health projects, managing and fostering relationships with funding bodies and partners, promoting collaboration amongst community members and ensuring the correct management and operations of the service teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Formulate, develop and implement strategic plans for the mental health and school-based service teams.
* Lead and supervise the units (Youth Outreaching, School Social Work, Student Development, Counselling, Mental Health, Social Prescribing, and other mental health projects) under the mental health services unit, as well as their leaders and team members.
* Manage various executive administration matters, including the evaluation, analysis and control of service effectiveness, as well as the initiation of mental health services research and proposals.
* Enhance and develop communication channels with donors, funding bodies, and supporters to solicit resources to support the operation and development of the services.
* Promote and facilitate cross-professional collaboration and alliance, including medical professionals, clinical psychologists, and the education industry.
* Provide clinical consultation for case-based social services.
* Liaise with various government departments and NGOs and attend relevant Committees.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in social work with relevant psychology, or mental health training will be prioritized.
* No less than 10 years of professional experience in a sizeable social service organization with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position (social work officer or equivalent).
* Relevant experience in mental health services (such as emotional support, mental rehabilitation, adolescent mental health, community mental health) is highly preferred.
* Strong leadership with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, influencing capability, excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in English, and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese).
