Responsibilities

• Lead shipping team and monitor entire shipping activities and logistics workflow

• Coordinate with vendors and shipping line representatives on shipment planning

• Handle full set of Import/Export Shipping documents and forwarder /supplier’s management

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain and logistics excellence

• Conduct data analysis on Logistics Costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving strategies

• Work with internal departments and external stakeholders to align logistics initiatives with business objectives

• Implement logistics technologies to optimize processes and generate performance reports

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar managerial role within the shipping or logistics industry for more than 10 years

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and managing complexity

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

• Proficiency in database management and analysis, utilizing data-driven insights to drive operational improvements
