Responsibilities 

• Conducting comprehensive global market research to gain deep insights into customers' brands, identifying their needs, gaps, and offering tailored product designs

• Staying at the forefront of global market trends, continuously seeking new ideas, silhouettes, and technologies to incorporate into designs

• Collaborating closely with customers/superiors to not only meet but exceed their expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty

• Developing innovative product designs and skilfully translating concepts into samples, adhering to customer direction while achieving design intent and optimal performance fit

• Delivering engaging and persuasive product presentations to both customers and internal stakeholders

• Liaising effectively with factory/sourcing team to source high-quality fabrics/hardware and components from the market, ensuring the best materials & cost for each design

• Utilising expert pattern cutting skills to ensure new designs are suitable for bulk production, maintaining quality and efficiency
  

Requirement

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Proven experience in a senior product development or design role, specifically in ladies wear (Sport Wear), footwear, bags & fashion accessories

• Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative design skills and a keen eye for fashion trends

• Excellent market research abilities and trend forecasting skills

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (CLO3D is a plus)

• Strong pattern cutting skills and understanding of garment construction

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel to mainland for sourcing and product development

• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is advantageous
