Job Details
- Maintain regular communication with various vendors.
- Collaborate with sales departments on:
- Pricing and data preparation
- Sample management
- Management of displays (fixtures, point-of-purchase materials, etc.)
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in general marketing planning
- Coordinate advertising, brochures, and public relations efforts
- Plan and coordinate sponsorship activities
- Leverage promotional materials from vendors
- Sales and Inventory Management:
- Track monthly sales performance
- Monitor inventory levels and sales data
- Manage discount strategies
- Analyze sales data to prepare reports and insights for product strategy implementation.
- Participate in international sales meetings and trade shows to strengthen relationships with key partners.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new product lines.
- Handle various other sales-related tasks as needed.
Requirement
- Degree holder or equivalent (any major).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in import trading, purchasing, or sales management in Hong Kong, particularly in the outdoor, sports, or casual wear sectors.
- Proficient in both English and Chinese.
- Strong understanding of the outdoor market in Hong Kong.
- Experience in merchandising or export business is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to the USA, Europe, or Japan.
