Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with existing garment trim suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, adherence to specifications, and addressing any performance issues

• Oversee the entire purchase order lifecycle, including order placement, tracking, and expediting to meet production schedules

• Monitor inventory levels for various garment trims, forecast demand, and coordinate procurement activities to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs

• Work closely with quality control to ensure all incoming goods meet our stringent quality standards and comply with relevant regulations

• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier information, and contracts within SAP. Generate report to communicate key procurement information and identify areas for improvement

• Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business needs

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency enhancements within the procurement workflow

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Proven experience in procurement or merchandising roles specifically within the garment trims industry

• Must have strong working knowledge and experience with SAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is also required

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage complex procurement scenarios

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal teams

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese and good command of written and spoken English

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
